It is the PAIN of an UNJUST society forcing a WOMAN to discard her SELF in favor of a vacuum of WAFISHNESS and HELPLESSNESS. If you do not conform, you will be forever isolated. But by conforming, you lose the very structure of your being and are thus isolated ANYWAY. And so what can a woman do but eat ice cream and develop serious mental-emotional complexes? Man, the book is kind of getting strange. I feel like it's more of a psychological study of a psychopathic twelve year old than a book about ninjas (even though it's almost all about "ninjas"). I'm enjoying it, though. Especially when he starts having conversations with his dog Francine. XD
